The brain of your Chameleon system
Every Neon system starts with our modular control units. These hidden workhorses distribute power, handle calls, manage access, and tie everything together across your building. Designed for quick installation in risers or plant rooms, our controls support audio, video, digital and functional panels out of the box and scale from a single entrance to hundreds of access points without special cabling.
Why Neon?
Modular, plug-and-play design for fast installs and easy upgrades.
One controller platform for all system types, whether audio, video, mixed, or concierge.
Supports long cable runs, multiple risers and estate-wide configurations.
Anti-hog and multi-speech technology keep lines free during busy times.
Proud to remain British-owned, designed and made in Britain, with full line isolation and 10-year parts availability.

Power and Flexibility, Engineered for Excellence
Modular, scalable, and designed to suit your building, not the other way around.
Neon control modules constitute the backbone of every door entry system we manufacture. Conceived by specialist door entry engineers, our controls are engineered to simplify installation, maximise compatibility with existing cabling, and deliver robust, reliable performance.
Whether overseeing a modest retrofit or managing a multi-entrance estate, these modular units make it straightforward to build, expand, or upgrade systems without disturbing what has already been installed.
A brief overview of key elements
Power supplies: Robust switch mode units feed panels and controls. Optional trades time clocks allow for timed access and automatic time changes.
The supplies are efficient and reliable; most systems require only one.
- Distribution units (nodes): Each module serves eight flats and isolates lines, preventing a fault in one flat from affecting the rest of the system.
- In video configurations, nodes also amplify and isolate the video signal via coax or twisted pair wiring. Distribution boards can be housed together in a single boxed exchange or positioned in secure cabinets across larger sites, scaling to thousands of dwellings.
- Optional modules: Trades clocks, concierge interfaces and other accessories can be added without reconfiguration. Our Neon bus interface provides ultimate build security and flexibility to position equipment wherever it is most effective.
Everything connects via our unified platform, giving flexibility to position equipment wherever it is most suitable. There is no predetermined layout.
There is no single “correct” way to install Neon Door Entry; our controls adapt to the structure and requirements of each project.
Each component is designed to integrate seamlessly into riser cupboards, plant rooms or cabinets with plug and play connectors—substantially reducing on site time and simplifying ongoing maintenance. Installers have the flexibility to position modules as needed; the system will adapt accordingly.

One common core. Infinite configurations
Every Neon system utilises a unified control platform designed for power, performance and uncompromising simplicity. One controller backbone supports any combination of door panels and handsets—audio or video, functional or digital.
Concierge facilities, multiple entrances, line isolation and advanced access control are all added without special wiring or proprietary hardware. The result is faster installation, streamlined maintenance and genuine freedom to adapt as needs evolve.

Designed for future expansion
Nothing is wasted with Neon. A system initially configured for audio can, at any time, be upgraded to video by adding our retrofit video kit to existing panels and handsets. Likewise, additional features—such as concierge services or extra entrances—can be implemented without replacing equipment. This modular approach ensures long-term viability and cost effectiveness.
