Video Systems

Neon video systems share the same modular controls architecture as our audio solutions, giving you a future proof upgrade path and consistent performance. Every system uses a rugged power supply and distribution nodes that distribute power, audio, and video signals while isolating each flat to prevent system wide faults. In video installations the distribution units also amplify the video feed via coax or twisted pair wiring, ensuring a clear, reliable picture in every flat. Each node serves eight dwellings, and you can combine multiple units—up to 2040 flats—to suit the project’s scale.

Optional boxed exchanges integrate the control units and power supply into one enclosure for smaller sites, while our bus interface units make configuring complex sites simple. With this unified control platform, upgrading from audio to video is just a matter of adding a camera at the entrance point and integrating the “plug and play” video screen to the existing Neon handset—no rewiring required.

Built on decades of experience in social housing yet adaptable to any multi dwelling environment, the range is the most versatile and installer friendly video entry solution available today. It works seamlessly on legacy cabling, delivers competitive cost savings, and makes upgrading from audio effortless.

You may combine any of our door panel options with our robust video handsets and modular control units to create a complete video entry solution. For smaller blocks or large estates, our video packages install quickly, operate over existing wiring (coax or twisted pair), and even allow you to mix
audio and video devices on the same system. If you already have a Neon audio system, simply add our retrofit video upgrade kit to your existing panels and handsets—nothing you’ve installed goes to waste.

Although the door entry market often labels systems by type or building size, our customers tell us that Neon’s digital solution is fast becoming the standard—because it’s affordable, versatile, vandal resistant and simple to use. That’s why we focus on what really matters: how many entrances you want to control and how many flats need to communicate. We’ll work with you to select your best door entry solution.

For all this intelligence, flexibility, and deep in-the-background engineering complexity, configuring your Neon Chameleon Video Door Entry System is as easy as 1-2-3.

  1. Choose resident handsets
Video handsets let residents see and talk to visitors before releasing the door. You can mix video and audio units on the same system and add multiple handsets (up to 10 per flat) if needed.
  2. Define your access points
How many entrances will you control? Will you include pedestrian and vehicle gates, floors or landings?
  3. Choose your door panel type(s)
Select one or more door panel types to suit each entrance. Choose your preferred user interface—functional or digital—and decide whether you need integrated cameras or remote domes.
